Guest suite parking is in one of the three visitor stalls on the ground level. Building access will be reviewed at time of check-in. A "Guest Suite" parking pass must be displayed at all times.

If any of these access items are lost they must be reported IMMEDIATELY to Gateway Property Management at 250-412-0713. Replacement cost is $100 per item.

THE SOVEREIGN COMMONS - ROOFTOP AMENITY The Sovereign Commons (Rooftop Amenity) is accessible via the north elevator and both tower stairwells. It is available from 9:00 am - 10:30 pm daily. Outdoor furniture has been provided. Please respect your fellow residents by leaving the rooftop area clean and keeping noise to a minimum. For detailed rules of use, see below.

Instructions for Use Please familiarize yourself with the correct operation and cleaning (if applicable) of the provided appliances and heaters before use. Instructions for the heaters, fireplace, BBQ and burner can be found in one of the drawers of the outdoor kitchen. Replace the instructions back in the drawer after use.

Outdoor Furniture You will find cushions for the patio furniture stored in the rooftop storage room (located in the rooftop elevator lobby). Please do your part to maintain the condition of the furniture by wiping up spills and reporting any issues to the property manager. Please return the cushions to the storage room after use.

Patio Heaters The dining area is fitted with natural gas patio heaters. They are controlled by a timer located on one of the posts of the trellis/cover structure. There are gas shutoff valves located on the wall to the north of the BBQ kitchen under a metal cover. To operate the heaters, ensure that the gas valves are turned on and simply set the timer to the desired time, and the heaters will ignite. If you no longer require the heaters on, please turn the timer to the OFF position before leaving the rooftop for safety and to conserve natural gas. Shut the wall-mounted gas valves to the off position when the heaters are not in use. If the patio heaters do not ignite for any reason when the timer is activated please contact the property manager. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPEN THE UNITS OR SERVICE THE GAS LINES YOURSELF.

Fireplace The lounge area gas fireplace is controlled by a wall-mounted timer located on the south wall of the rooftop terrace near the door to the elevator lobby. Setting the timer to your preferred time will ignite the fireplace. No other adjustments are required. The fireplace uses a pilot ignition system. If the fireplace does not light for www.homeinformationpackages.com | Login ID: [removed] | Password: [removed] Page 55 any reason when the timer is turned please contact the property manager. Please turn off the fireplace by setting the timer to the off position before leaving the rooftop. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RELIGHT THE PILOT OR OPEN THE UNIT YOURSELF.

BBQ The outdoor kitchen features a 36" natural gas BBQ. To light the BBQ you will require a wand-style BBQ lighter. Several have been provided at time of building turnover and will be found in the storage drawers of the outdoor kitchen. See specific lighting and use instructions located in the storage drawers of the outdoor kitchen.

Single Burner Grill The outdoor kitchen also includes a single gas burner. To light the burner you will require a wand-style BBQ lighter. See specific lighting and use instructions located in the storage drawers of the outdoor kitchen.

Cleaning Please take the time to scrape the grill and clean with the provided brush, wipe down the countertop and BBQ/burner lid and surface (once cool) using a non-abrasive cloth and replace the BBQ tools in the cupboards/drawers. Please remove all food and beverages from the fridge and remove all garbage from the rooftop area. This will ensure that the outdoor kitchen is maintained to a high standard for all residents of The Sovereign.

Countertop The outdoor kitchen has a natural stone countertop and backsplash. It has been professionally installed and sealed at time of building turnover. DO NOT CUT DIRECTLY ON THE SURFACE OR PLACE HOT ITEMS ON THE STONE. As natural stone is porous, please make sure to wipe up any food, grease or beverage spills, especially acidic liquids such as marinades, salad dressings and citrus. Prolonged exposure of these products on the surface can damage the countertop.

Rooftop Washroom A washroom has been provided on the north side of the elevator core. Should the washroom require maintenance or cleaning attention please notify the property manager. www.homeinformationpackages.com | Login ID: [removed] | Password: [removed] Page 56 SOVEREIGN COMMONS RULES OF USE
